Sea Tea started in the winter of 2023, in my small Connecticut cottage. Living in quiet isolation, I found hope within a cup of tea.

Thank you for taking an interest in my tea blends. It isn’t just a tea business that I’ve started, but something philanthropic. I love the ocean and all that it naturally entails, my wish is to protect it and to help sustain it through something I enjoy. Tea, and island culture.

Plastic pollution in our oceans is a major issue. It does not disappear, it only breaks down into smaller particles which are called microplastics. Plastics are often ingested accidentally by marine life, threatening the lives of marine species.

It’s estimated that 14 million tons of plastic end up in our oceans each year. If we don’t act now, marine debris could outweigh marine life by 2050.

A dollar from each purchase of tea will always go to an honest marine conservation charity. My hope is that as Sea Tea grows, the donation size will grow as well, leading to greater ways to help keep our oceans clean and thriving.
